NAMC-WMAC OVERVIEW
 
In February 2005, the newly organized Washington, DC Metropolitan Area Chapter of the National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC-WMAC) was founded. Rosalind T. Stephenwoof (formerly: Rosalind Wheeler Styles) President and CEO of Capitol City Associates, Inc. of Washington, DC serves as the chapter’s President and Shirley Blair, President of Advanced Resources Technology Group, Inc. serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

NAMC-WMAC encompasses Washington, DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in Maryland and Northern Virginia.

 
NAMC CHAPTER AFFILIATION
 
The limitations of NAMC-WMAC shall be consistent and in conformance with NAMC documents and practices.

NAMC-WMAC shall not obligate or otherwise make NAMC liable for any expenditures or commitments, unless such expenditures or commitments shall be have been approved by NAMC.

NAMC-WMAC shall not undertake any action or practices which would cause it to be no longer eligible for exemption of federal income taxes as a tax exempt organization within the meaning of section 501 (c) (3)

Neither NAMC-WMAC nor NAMC shall pay, assume or become responsible for the personal or unapproved debts or liabilities of any individual member of the corporation.
